5 Wild Mountain Walks in the Brecon Beacons

There are some amazing Wild places in the Brecon Beacons that are accessible yet quiet. You just have to know where to look. I was running, further away from roads on mountain trails, and it hit me that I’m more than a bit accident Prone. I realised that, if I hurt myself I’d struggle to get to a road, if it was cold I’d get hypothermic and it would basically turn a nice run in to an epic day. Off the Beaten Track in Snowdonia

Dolwyddelan, we drive through this town on the A470 on our way to the mountains. I’ve always thought it was a beautiful drive to get to the main Ogwen and Llanberis areas, so when we arrived at the bunkhouse on Thursday I was excited to spend a bit of time exploring.
